W lochach socjalizmu is the testimony of Bogumił Studziński (1931–1987), who in 1951, aged nineteen, was given ten years in prison for his part in the anti-communist underground and served his sentence in Rawicz. His memoir appeared after his death, in 1988, through the underground press. The new edition brings it back to readers.
